Background and Training

Anya Boroditsky is a bench jeweler creating both her own collection and custom pieces from her studio in Summit, New Jersey, as well as New York’s Diamond District.

Her work is grounded in hands-on experience at the bench, combining traditional techniques with a modern, independent approach to design.

Journey into Jewelry Making

Anya’s path into jewelry began with a fascination for gemstones—their color, texture, and natural variation. What started as curiosity quickly became a pursuit, as she moved from self-teaching to formal training, apprenticeships, and full-time work in the field.

Over time, this exploration evolved into a clear creative direction and the launch of her own brand, supported by a strong foundation of skill and persistence.

Design Philosophy

Anya believes the world has seen enough predictable jewelry. She is drawn instead to the irregular and unexpected—sourcing distinctive gemstones and transforming them into one-of-a-kind designs.

Using techniques such as wax carving and lost wax casting, she creates pieces with an organic, sculptural quality. Each piece is made by hand, designed to feel personal, and meant to be worn every day.
